I was perusing eBay for hamcolle listings, and I realized- these sets have names. Duh. I'm currently in the progress of finding listings that have the packaging intact, and writing what the name of the set is. I can read some of it, since I've been learning Japanese. I will be putting the title as it is written, not translating it (I don't understand a good bit of it). I will update again when I have finished.Here, I have a list of the sets from the Hamu-chans Collection figure series. Hamu-chans is the Japanese term for the Ham-hams. Since the popular Japanese figure line for Pokemon is called Monster Collection and usually shortened to MonColle by fans, I have decided to call this series HamColle!There are series 1 and 2, labelled HC and HC2 respectively on the boxes and promo material. HC generally has more well-know characters with the standard style, while HC2 has some more obscure characters, with several being smaller in size than early figures. Of course, characters from either series can be obscure or not.SPECULATION: I suspect that, given the popularity of Japanese merchandise appearing only as limited edition lottery prizes, a few sets I don't have information on may have been lottery prizes! Mostly, I suspect that Cye-Ra from one of the movies may have been released this way, since the Mo Hams got normal releases.These figures were released by Epoch in the early 2000's, the majority of them were only released in Japan. Some were also released in Europe under the Giochi Preziosi company, sometimes with different accessories. A few were released in the USA, usually with slight differences, such as the earlier figures having the later style for eye shines, and the Clubhouse having different colors in some areas.Unfortunately, I don't know of every set released- I have documented only ones I've seen evidence of.
